Intel Details Its First Arc A-Series GPUs for Laptops
The first batch of Intel's new Arc graphics cards are finally ready for use in retail devices, starting with Samsung's Galaxy Book 2 Pro laptops. The first batch of A-series GPUs are lower-power cards intended mainly for ultraportables and thin-and-light notebooks. Across the entire family of Arc GPUs, Intel's graphics architecture is based on four main pillars: the company's XE cores, XE Media Engine, XE Display Engine, and the XE Graphics Pipeline. All Arc cards will also have the same basic feature set including support for DirectX 12 Ultimate, ray tracing, XE Super Sampling, AV1 hardware acceleration and more.

Samsung Wallet is using Samsung Knox for defense-grade security. Protections include fingerprint recognition and encryption to help safeguard users’ sensitive data. In addition to Samsung Knox, certain key sensitive items in the wallet are stored in Secure Element, an isolated environment designed to help protect against digital and physical hacking.

Understanding the Differences Between BI, AI and Analytics
For many organizations, there seems to be so much overlap between BI (business intelligence), AI (artificial intelligence) and analytics that it’s difficult to know where one technology ends and the other begins — or even whether these technologies can be used concurrently. PayPal Expands Its ‘Pay Later’ Options with a More Flexible ‘PayPal Pay Monthly’ Service
After Apple shook up the buy now, pay later market with news that it would now be a competitor to established firms, PayPal is introducing another buy now, pay later product to follow the 2020 launch of its “Pay in 4” installment program. The new offering, “PayPal Pay Monthly,” is designed to give customers a more flexible way to pay. Instead of having to pay off purchases over a six-week period as before, “Pay Monthly” users can break down the total cost into monthly payments over a six- to 24-month period.

Cisco Service Predicts SD-WAN Problems
Cisco has taken the wraps off ThousandEyes WAN Insights service that will let Cisco SD-WAN customers get network forecasts and SD-WAN policy recommendations for elevating application performance. They said that ThousandEyes WAN Insights helps IT teams anticipate changes to their WAN environments using data-driven analysis that gives them actionable network recommendations to reduce issues and optimize performance across Internet, cloud, and SaaS.
Juniper Networks Rolls out 'Full Stack' SASE
Secure access service edge (SASE) and security service edge (SSE) have been gaining momentum with hybrid work being the primary driver. This article says that the simplest way to think about it is that SASE is comprised of SSE plus SD-WAN. In response to these market changes, Juniper Networks announced that it has expanded its SSE portfolio by adding native cloud access security broker (CASB) and data loss prevention (DLP) capabilities.
